Saved myself at least 2-300 dollars by doing the repair myself. All seems fine. Its been almost a week now and the freezerad fridge are both working famously!

Freezer and refrigerator stopped cooling
Since it was at least 10 years old, I thought that it was time to replace it, and that a major repair with a technician would cost me same as buying a new one. Just for curiosity I searched for the cost to have someone repair it, but Partselect showed up, and pointed out my problem and how to fix it. Was not sure, so for 90 dollars including shipping I bought the run capacitor and the overload relay kit just in case. The video to replace the run capacitor was simple, still, my friend at work who is an electrician warned me to take extra precautions not to touch both terminals an use gloves, so I did, and while I was there I replaced the relay kit. It was a bit different than what the instructions said. But the logic was simple an clear: remove the old piece from the 3 pin terminal of the compressor, and on the same manner and orientation, (no way to miss it) place back the two new piece relay. Plug back in the two cables. The extra cable-adapter, you will find important since the old relay had a different male-female size, and this small cable will adapt from the small female size to the bigger male size in the relay. The cover did not fit as suppose, but I still place it back to cover relay from outer elements. As soon as I remove the old relay, I knew that that was the problem, it was full of broken pieces when it burned out. I placed back the frige cover connected and BINGO, within an our I was cooling down my beers!

Ice/water dispenser sometimes too slow to cut off.
I unplugged the refrigerater, then proceeded to remove the three screws that hold the dispenser face in position. When I lifted the dispenser face out of the way, I removed the remaining two screws that held the dispenser actuator pad in place. I lifted the unit away and turned it over. No need to unplug any cables. I simply lifted the old pad away, replacing it with the new pad. I re-assembled everything in the order in which I took it apart. Plugged the fridge back in. Tested the new actuator. Problem solved!

The original ice eclosure broke
Turn off the appliance. There is a screw under the left side that must be removed. Then you will need to kind of push back and lift up on the old enclosure to remove. Once free, reach back on the left side and uncouple the wiring harness. You will need to squeeze in the top and bottom to free it. The hardest part was removing the ubolt off of the motor. I used my vice and a pair of waterpump pliers. Remember the threads are counter clockwise. Then it is just a matter of installing the old parts on the new enclosure and sliding it back in place. You will need to remove the water from the ice maker to get it to start again. Rather than removing it it pour the water out, I just soaked it up with a sponge.

Natural door closer and lower hinge pin worn out
Did all of work without removing door. Door is approximately 2 1/2" off floor, so shim door with a piece of two by four and wood shims to hold door level while removing bolts. Had mirror lying on floor underneath the hinge to see location of bolts. Removed 3 bolts that hold the metal bracket. After removing the bracket the pin slides out. Then remove another bolt from the door closer, this enables the old closer to be removed. Then replace new closer with one bolt. Slide hinge pin back in place making sure tab is toward refrigerator to line up with hole in metal bracket. Replace metal bracket with bolts. Tools used were 1/4" drive ratchet, 1/4" drive 3" extension and a 1/4" drive 5/16 " socket

The icemaker was leaking into the ice hopper creating an iceberg.
After receiving the new ice maker assembly I placed the new part next to the old one to see what I needed to transfer from the old to the new. After removing the wiring harness and a few small parts, I placed them on the new assembly. After that it was a snap which timewise took about 15 minutes. I am pleased to say the ice hopper is full and being replenished very efficiently.

Water leak on the intake valve
I accessed the model with the model number, isolated the part and ordered it online. Very simple procedure and great online interface to identify the part. On receiving the part I disconnected the water line, followed the instructions to remove the bracket and then the valve. Re-attached the new valve and replaced the bracket. Attached the water supply and tested the valve. Once it all worked fine I moved the refrigerator back into position.
