What to check after replacing defrost element and thermostat control due to the freezer not defrosting and continues to freeze up. I used my multimeter to check for voltage to the thermostat controller and there was none. I was wondering if on the control unit, the list that was shown on your site shows that there are 2 control units wondering if one side is for the defrost timer if there is a separate part or if its all control by the main unit. Could you please send me the part number that operate the defrost timer

Hello Ivory, thank you for the question. As you have already replaced the defrost thermostat and defrost heater and it did not solve the problem. We would suggest checking the control board, part number PS11753652, to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!

t's give her a shot so I did give it a shot. I ordered the parts and they were there in less time than a service tech could come out and i installed the parts and guess what for 90.00 in parts and 15 minutes in time I repaired my refrigerator. Thanks guys, It took less time to order the parts than it did to make the repair so thanks, your website rocks and is very well designed so my hat is off to you guys!

six months the light turns red. time to replace filter
First I shut the water off to the refrigerator.then i pushed the big button in the middle of the grille below the refrigerator door. pulled out the old filter, took the front cap off the old filter put it on the new filter. took the two red caps off the new filter. pushed the filter in till it locked in place. all done!
