No Power
Installing the new switch was a snap. With the dryer unplugged, open the top using a putty knife to release the 2 clips - one on each side. Lift the top and support it to stay open. Next, note the wire color and location for each of the 3 wires. Remove each wire from its prong on the bad switch by gripping the connector with pliers and pulling off. Next remove the bad switch by squeezing the tabs on the sides of the switch to release it. The switch removes to the front of the dryer. Install the new switch in the same method and reconnect the wires as before making sure the colors go back on the same prongs. I had to replace one of the connectors with a larger one (that came with the switch) since one of the prongs on the new switch was larger than the orginal (bad) switch. To do this, I cut the old connector off, stripped the end of the wire, and crimpted on the new connector. I had to be careful not to waste too much wire since there was very little slack to work with.

Squeeky bearings
Followed the videos associated with the parts. NOTE: two videos showed turning the belt smooth side toward the drum, one showed it ribs toward the drum. Important thing is to assure the ribs fit into the grooves on the motor pulley with no twists in the belt.

Gas burner would not ignite.
Logged onto the internet, went to Youtube and typed in the issue I was having with the dryer. Found a very good demonstration on how to check continuity on each component that allows the dryer to function properly. Found the problem, cleaned the dryer...it was really dusty. Runs fine now!!!...Thanks Youtube. Ordered the part...came in two days later..saved me a bunch of money!!!

Rodent entered through vent, chewed through outlet duct assembly and vent screen
Removed door. Removed screws from outlet duct assembly except for 2 hidden screws that were only accessible from inside the dryer between the drum and outer assembly. Had to pull back the felt between the two units to access the hidden screws. Used 1/8" welding rod to stabilize the outer drum unit so it wouldn't fall. Removed the hidden screws. Carefully found two screw receptacles and working only by feel, was able to install the two hidden screws. The rest of the assembly went smoothly, especially after marking where each screw went. Had to remove 3 wires from outer drum unit but marked them with letters signifying color and reinstalled easily. All in all, a very difficult job due to the two hidden internal screws. I would recommend a general handyman hire this job to a technician.

Broken baffle in tumbler
I watched an online do it yourself video that showed how to open the dryer cabinet. It was extremely easy. I unplugged the dryer. Unscrewed four screws and two hex nuts to remove the door and open the cabinet. Then unscrewed two hex nuts that held the broken baffle. Replaced the baffle. Screwed everything back together and the dryer is like new. Saved a lot of money not having to call a service technician. If you can turn a screwdriver, you can make this repair.
