Latch was loose and the door was hard to open.
First let me say, if the handle attaching points are broken, then you need to purchase the Latch Assembly that has the handle included. I made the mistake of ordering just the assembly w/o the handle. I called Partselect and they sent out the correct part and credited my credit card when they received the incorrect part.
Turn off power/trip circuit breaker.
Remove the screws holding the inner door, lift and turn the inner door, mark with a Sharpie the side of the old and new assembly where the black wires attach.
Remove the assembly and pull the switches off; can be difficult. I just removed the switches from the old assembly and used them on the new assembly instead of what came with it. Save them just incase.
Replace the assembly in the opening.
Replace screws.
Turn on power.

Door latch was broken
Unplugged the dishwasher.
Removed 10 screws on the inside of the door, lifted the inside of the door off the front side, unplugged the wiring from the old latch, plugged it into the new latch, laid it back into position. put the door back together with the screws. It did take 2 people, one to hold the inside of the door apart from the front side. The unplugging the old part was a little bit of a challenge but we were able to use the switches from the old part which did make it a little easier to replace.

Difficulty opening machine
Piece of cake!!Turn power off unless you seek high voltage excitement!!!Go shut off breaker to dishwasher!!!Undo T-20 torx head screws from panel inside washer door, turn panel to the right to get it out of your way and then...look for any broken parts behind panel and pull them out. Then take great patience with connectors that are on prongs.Carefully pull them off and then reconnect new part to connectors.(this took me about 3 minutes) because I read other reviews detailing difficulty.Line up with screw holes and screw back together loose at first and then go back and tighten until snug.Bravo!!!Turn power back on and feel like a repairman because you are ready to go!!!

Broken handle- latch and switches were not broken
Find circuit breaker that feeds appliance- verify after turning it off. Open door, remove torx screws, lift cover with care not to damage wiring. Carefully use pliers to remove connector to latch switches, remove assembly and replace with new one ensuring to place connectors in proper place. Set latch assembly in place, replace cover and ensure that bottom end is over the lip of the bottom dishwasher pan and that the two corner seals are not damaged. Place torx screws in holes and screw in but not too tight.

Dishwasher handle/latch was broken and difficult to open.
Repair was simply. I just removed the screws on the door and slide off old broken part and slide on new part. Took about 3 minutes to remove and replace screws...changing the part took seconds. Anyone could do this.

Easy fix for a broken door latch
Removed the screws that attach the inside of the door, keeping them in order. Two are longer. The part is loose at that point and the wires un clip with a little pull with a needle nose. Replaced with the new part, re screwed and good as new. oh and turned off the breaker before disassembly.

Latch wore out
Removed screws from door liner and separated liner from door. Latch assembly was attached with same screws that held door liner. I had some difficulty pulling off connectors but not to bad. I then reattached the liner. New latch works like a charm. Easy 15 minute job.
