Broken Dishwasher Handel
After 4 years of faithful service the handel on our built in dishwasher broke and needed to be replaced - we had a quote from a authorized repair place for $130 not including the parts. We found 2 very similar looking parts on the PartSelect website, and a quick phone call to a friendly and knowledgeable customer service agent helped sort out the difference in just a few moments. When the box arrived I think I spent more time looking for my screw driver and figuring out which breaker to turn off - than I did to replace the broken assembly. Dave - Redford MI

Door Latch Broke
Turned off the power to the dishwasher. Used a hex head bit on the electric screw driver to remove all the screws around the inside of the door. Pulled the old broken handle out, disconected both sides of the electric wires, reconected them to the new handle then reinserted it. Screwed the door back togeather. Works great now. Didnt require any help from my husband :)

Replaced broken latch
Easy fix, although this was the third time I had to replace the handle. Unscrewed the door panel, unharnessed the 2 switches, hooked up the new switches and handle, re-installed the door panel. Make sure to unplug the dishasher first, as the switches are "hot".

door handle would not latch
remove nine 5/8" long torx head screws, lift out door latch assembly and disconnect spade connectors from 2 switches. This took a little levering from a flat screwdriver. Reverse procedure. Install replacement assembly by inserting spade connector and placing assembly in door. reinstall nine torx screws, two of which hold the reinstalled door latch. Hardest part of this job was to your knees while removing the screws.

Door Handle/Latch broken
I am very impressed with Partselect.com! Your easy to use website made finding the part easy. THEN your website had detailed photographs of the part on a grid to give me confidence that I had found the correct part.

So, part arrives in a couple days and I immediately return to the website to review the how-to video. Removing the old and replacing the new was a breeze. There was no doubt or second-guessing, the website had all the answers.

Any more appliance work and I will be back!

The latch would no long hold the dishwasher door closed.
1.Turned off the pwoer to the dishwasher.
2.Opened the dishwasher and removed the torx screws holding the back panel of the door. The top center two screw also hold the latch in place.
3.Gently opened the back cover about 4 inches.

Handle broke off the unit.
Removed the power scource then the torx screws around the inside door liner. Then removed the two wires from each of the two switches on the latch assy. Connected the wires to the new latch assembly and put in place. The screws around the inner door lining hold the unit in place. Easy! Easy!
