Shut Power to the dishwasher. Remove all screws from the inside of the door except the bottom one on each side. Those two should just be loose but not removed. Pull the inside of the door up enough so you can pull out the the latch assembly. Disconnect the two plugs from the switches, connect to the new assembly and re-install. Can use a couple of toothpicks to line up the door panel and latch assembly to make it easier. Replace and tighten all screws.Turn the power back on.

the repair went very well and the instruction video was very helpful , however, in the video it implies you need to remove the black handle from the switch before installing the switch, I assume this means if the handle is to be replaced by itself/only, otherwise when replacing the entire switch with handle you don't have to remove the black handle before installing, this is not clear in the video

REPAIR WAS PRETTY EASY AFTER WATCHING THE DO IT YOURSELF VIDEO. IT TOOK US ABOUT 30 MINS TO TAKE DOOR OFF FROM DISHWASHER AND UNHOOK EVERYTHING & INSTALL THE NEW LATCH. HAD A MINOR PROBLEM-- THE DISHWASHER DOOR WAS ABLE TO SHUT & I RAN A CLEAN CYCLE BECAUSE IT HAD NOT BEEN USED IN A COUPLE OF MONTHS. THE NEXT TIME I WENT TO USE IT, THE DOOR WOULD NOT LATCH AGAIN- HAD TO TAKE IT APART AGAIN & RE-DO ALL OF THE STEPS. I THINK THAT IT IS BECAUSE THE ACTUAL PART DOESNT' HAVE IT'S OWN SCREWS- WHEN YOU SCREW THE DOOR BACK ON, THE SAME SCREWS ARE USED & IT WAS LOOSE. ALL IN ALL- I BELIEVE THAT THIS SAVES US A TON OF MONEY &NEXT TIME I NEED TO DO A REPAIR, I WILL ORDER MY PART FROM YOU AGAIN!

Removed all torx screws from inside perimeter of the inner door cover after shutting off power and pulled out the broken door handle, latch assembly with switches. Used the flat screw driver to gently pry up under the two connector switch legs to loosen them. Pulled the connections off and plugged them into the new assembly. Inserted the assembly back into the door, positioned the inner door and fastened with the torx screws. Turned power on, dishwasher fixed as new. The video shown on the site is great for someone with little mechanical skills.

Just watched the video. The only problem I had was disconnecting the electrical connections. Since the dishwasher was sort of old, the electrical connections were probably stuck pretty hard. I sprayed a tiny amount of wd 40 into the metal portions of the connections, then carefully pried them apart with the side of a screwdriver, othewise the repair would have only taken about 15 minutes.
