Handle broke
Instead of just buying a handle, you can purchase the entire latch assembly. Check your dishwasher door to see if you require a torx screw driver. If you don't have one, consider buying a folding set so you will have numerous sizes for future repairs on other items. Turn off the breaker to the dishwasher. Use a torx screw driver or bits to remove the inner cover of the dish washer door. Then unplug the leads on either side of the assembly. Mark the outside of the plugs so you don't get them switched. Use a small flat screw diver and/or pliers to unplug the leads. Plug the leads into the new assembly, and reinstall the torx screws for the inner panel. Easy fix.

Door handle broke
It was so easy I just removed 10 screws and removed 2 wire clips and pulled out the old handle and the replaced the new one. I have no idea how much I saved but I would guess close to a hundred bucks. Thanks PartSelect.

left side place wheel and housing of middle rack broke
checked video and comments of previous customers. Had to buy torque wrench so although we have lots of tools we did not have this type of wrench. No indication of it needed when we ordered part, no written instructions with part. What do people do who are not able to have a video accessible to them as they install? Without video we would have had much more difficulty.
Had tried to order replacement wheel...seems odd that since it is reported that the wheels (plastic) have frequent breakage issues that you cannot just replace it instead of a $50 larger part. It is hard to find repair people in our rural area so glad to have online access. Good service from this company, prompt arrival etc.

The handle would no longer work.
The handle comes with the switch assembly. I took out the screws holding the back side of the door (white side , inside the of door). The switch assembly comes loose as two of the screws in the door panel hold the switch panel in place. There are two plastic hoders at the bottom of the switch attached to the inside of thr front panel. On mine these were broken off, but not really needed. You might have to get the old switch assembly loose from yours. I then pulled the switch wiring from the old switch. Note what goes to which side and in what direction they plug in and then hook up the new switch assembly. You may need to get the new switch bottom lugs back into the two brackets (mine were broken off and I ignored them) and then I located the two top holes in the switch assembly with the two holes in the top of the door and placed the back door panel back in place and put all the screws back in the door panel. That was it.

Broken latch handle
1. Shut off the power. (important!)
2. Removed 9 screws from the door panel. Left the bottom 2 in place. There is enough room to access the latch assembly.
3. Removed the broken assembly. The microswitch connections were easily removed by inserting the tip of a large scewdriver and carefully rotating it to ease the switch off the prongs.
4.Installed the new latch assembly and replaced all the 9 screws.
5. Closed the door and reapplied the power. Success!
6.Time taken was 10 minutes.
The instructions from others with a similar problem were invaluable.

dishes not cleaning properly
also had to replace heating element. Had to remove dishwasher from under counter to get to heat element. Initial installer used long braided steel water line and plug in electrical connection so removal was easy (10 min). Pulled (2) electrical terminals from heat element and (2) plastic retaining nuts put in new element w/matching nuts, element came w/seals. Check for leaks before installing back under counter. Then removed torx screws holding impeller cover and accumulator/filter removed old put in new after good cleaning of course. All is well.

Dishwasher Handle Broke off
Installing the handle assembly was very simple. Only problem I had, the plastic clips that are part of the control panel were broken off also. (Thanks to a 2 year old Granddaughter) Rather than buy a complete control panel for $150, I used epoxy to attach the lower tabs of the handle assembly. Let it sit for 24 hours, install the door panel, which also used the upper mounting screws, and it was fixed. I ordered the part around 11:30am in Texas on a Thursday, and had the part in hand on Friday. Very impressed by the shipping time. Will use you over and over again. . . Ron Myers
