Door latch broken
This problem is exactly what many others have had.
The flimsy part breaks with normal usage.
Fortunately, it was an easy fix and the replacement part was easy to identify and order.
I'm very impressed with the quick turnaround, it broke on Sunday, the part shipped Monday, and i installed it Tuesday.. Very Happy ! I only wish more online companies followed this fine example.

dishwasher refused to operate- broke the handle trying to 'kickstart it.
Have an identical model at another house so traded parts until it worked- turned out the control panel flat wiring was crimped & broke some circuits. Never would have guessed the problem. The new control panel (& latch) were a piece of cake to install-11 screws later.

handle broke when opening the dishwasher (should have been a Maytag recall)
With the correct torx bit, I was able to unscrew the fasteners on the inside of the dishwasher door. The handle assemble required unpluging two electrical terminals (flipped breaker switch for safety that had the dishwasher on it's circuit). To disconnect the terminals, I used a flat head screw driver to this. By placing the screw driver blade between the old assy switch and the terminal blade and then rotating the srew driver blade, the terminal blade slid out of the old assy electrical connector. Two of the screws holding the door, also held the latch assy. I switched the broken assy with the good assy, replaced the electrical wires, then replaced the screws in the door & reset the circuit breaker. Job done, The hardest part was getting past the fear of repairing my first dishwasher.

Door was very dificult to open
The latch mounting clips built into the door were broken causing the latch not to fully release. once I got the door open the rest of the repair was very easy.
I had to take the interior panel of the door of so I could find out what parts I needed.
Once I had the parts it only took about 15 minutes to install them. The hardest thing to do was install the flimsy power tape into the connecter by hand. ( I am sure that they must make a special tool that supports the end of the tape to do this.)

A very simple repair.

adjuster...right side
I removed screws from the old part, took it out and replaced it with the new part. Simple! I was frustrated because I couldn't find the part I needed and all the businesses I called told me I would need to replace the whole top rack, which I thought was silly since the only thing that broke was the plastic support/wheel. I figured out what part I needed by reading repair stories from other PartSelect customers...looked at the diagrams, ordered the part, replaced it, and voilia! all is well!

Bottom rack was hitting door when opened
I installed additional wheels that had broken off. This was on my elderly mother's dishwasher in Iowa. I was visiting from California for a week when I discovered it was broken. I worried about getting the parts because I was not familiar with the area. PartSelect saved me by getting the parts delivered before I flew back to California. It was really great. Thanks,
