Dishwasher Handle Broke off
Installing the handle assembly was very simple. Only problem I had, the plastic clips that are part of the control panel were broken off also. (Thanks to a 2 year old Granddaughter) Rather than buy a complete control panel for $150, I used epoxy to attach the lower tabs of the handle assembly. Let it sit for 24 hours, install the door panel, which also used the upper mounting screws, and it was fixed. I ordered the part around 11:30am in Texas on a Thursday, and had the part in hand on Friday. Very impressed by the shipping time. Will use you over and over again. . . Ron Myers

dishes not cleaning properly
also had to replace heating element. Had to remove dishwasher from under counter to get to heat element. Initial installer used long braided steel water line and plug in electrical connection so removal was easy (10 min). Pulled (2) electrical terminals from heat element and (2) plastic retaining nuts put in new element w/matching nuts, element came w/seals. Check for leaks before installing back under counter. Then removed torx screws holding impeller cover and accumulator/filter removed old put in new after good cleaning of course. All is well.

The door handle broke inside the door
I removed the 11 star drive screws holding the inside of the door to the frame. The door handle and latch assembly comes loose with 2 of these screws. You must then remove the 2 wiring harnesses from the door switch. This just involves pulling straight down with a pliers. The new assembly has pins to match the 2 wiring harnesses and the door assembly sits right in the same spot as the old one. Carefully set it in with the door all the way open so it can't slip and reattach the inteior of the door using the 11 screws. It is an easy fix and you only need to get a #25 star drive bit for your screwdriver or battery drill.

The old handle broke. It was nearly impossible to open the dishwasher.
I wathched the online video. It looked very easy. I read some of the other repair stories. So I ordered the part. I removed the eleven screws around the inside edge of the door. I pulled the latch assembly out a little, and checked it with the voltage tester. There was power. I turned off the breaker to the dishwasher, and re-checked that the power was off. I used a pair of needle nose pliers to pull the old assembly electrical connections loose. I plugged in the new one, put all the screws back in place and turned on the power. It works perfectly. Very easy, indeed.

Broken Dishwasher Handel
After 4 years of faithful service the handel on our built in dishwasher broke and needed to be replaced - we had a quote from a authorized repair place for $130 not including the parts. We found 2 very similar looking parts on the PartSelect website, and a quick phone call to a friendly and knowledgeable customer service agent helped sort out the difference in just a few moments. When the box arrived I think I spent more time looking for my screw driver and figuring out which breaker to turn off - than I did to replace the broken assembly. Dave - Redford MI

Door Latch Broke
Turned off the power to the dishwasher. Used a hex head bit on the electric screw driver to remove all the screws around the inside of the door. Pulled the old broken handle out, disconected both sides of the electric wires, reconected them to the new handle then reinserted it. Screwed the door back togeather. Works great now. Didnt require any help from my husband :)

Replaced broken latch
Easy fix, although this was the third time I had to replace the handle. Unscrewed the door panel, unharnessed the 2 switches, hooked up the new switches and handle, re-installed the door panel. Make sure to unplug the dishasher first, as the switches are "hot".

Door latch pivot broke
Removed door panel torx screws using an electric screwdriver (makes for fast removal). Removed old door latch assembly by pulling off 2 connectors. Got the part number from the back of the assembly and ordered it. Got the new assembly in 3 days. Put the assembly in exactly the same as in was taken out. Having the exact same part takes all the guesswork out of doing this fix. Put in and align all the screws, but do not tighten down until they are all in place. Saved at least 100 dollars.
