I have replaced both water valve and ice maker bur water is not flowing to make ice. Is there a water filter on this model and what is location.?

Hello Pete, thank you for writing. There is no Walter filter in your model. Water may not be reaching the ice maker due to a frozen line, or a closed supply valve. When there is no filter, or it is clogged, the ice maker does not get water. Good luck with your repair.

I have ice that is building up on the bottom of the freezer section. I have shut off the water to the ice maker as it no longer works. Is there a drain somewhere that may be plugged and if so where?

Hello Angel, Thank you for your inquiry. There is a drain tube both in the bottom of the refrigerator liner and compressor section, and a water tube going from these tubes to the fitting on the back of the freezer. If any of these are clogged, it can cause ice buildup in the freezer. We hope this helps.
I backed out the 2 top screws about a quarter inch and then removed bottem screw with a quater inch nut driver. I then lifted Ice Maker clear of the two top screws and lowered it enough to unclip the power connection with a small screwdriver.
