Displaying: Er dh. Defrost heater or pcb or fuse.Bottom freezer is operational, but the refrigerator is not cooling.
For model number LRFD21855ST
Hello Louie, Thank you for the question. The DH error code indicated a Defrost issue. We suggest testing the Temperature/Defrost Sensor, PartSelect Number PS3529340 and the Defrost Heater, PartSelect Number PS12368655. They can be tested for resistance and should measure 77KO at -4°F, 60KO at 5°F, and 47.3KO at 14°F. The fuse on the sensor assembly should measure as having continuity and if it does not, then the assembly would need to be replaced. However, the defrost heater 5300JB1100Q should be tested and it should have a resistance reading. If there is not a resistance reading, then the heater has failed and would need to be replaced. We hope this helps.
