Fuse,Time Delay

The fuse-time delay may also be known as a line fuse or a microwave fuse, and it is a piece for your microwave. The function of this part is to shut off the microwave if there is a power surge, in order to protect your microwave from damage. You should consider having a service technician install this part as the high-voltage capacitors in a microwave can contain a very harmful electrical charge, even when the microwave is unplugged and has been inactive for some time. The tools that would be needed to complete this installation include a Phillips screwdriver, an insulated screwdriver, and a pair of pliers.

Problem was due to a faulty door switch. Replaced with a new switch and the microwave now works fine! Only thing that was tricky was that LG uses the hex screws with a peg in the middle to keep the microwave cover on. Had to use a small screwdriver and pliers (on the screwdriver) to unscrew the screws. read more

I love this microwave...but occasionally someone puts something in it that melts the glass plate. It takes about 2 minutes to find it on the site and order it...wait a few days...and then a second to put it in. It's great to continue to be able to buy things like this at a reasonable price and to keep good appliances going. read more
