Hoe do I remove the water filter. It barely turns and won’t come out

Hello Joyce, thank you for reaching out. To remove the water filter, you may need to turn the water supply off and unplug the appliance. Then turn the filter 90 degrees counterclockwise and pull it out. We hope this information helps!

what does it mean when screen goes blank and Er if shows up,also ice maker doesn't work.

Hello Shawn, thank you for getting in touch. Based on our research, the Er error indicates there is a loose wiring connection to the ice maker or the ice maker is faulty. You may need to check the wiring. If the wiring is good, you may need to replace the motor assembly, part number PS7791895. Remove water filter and water filter holder. Removed cover on back of frig. Removed clip where water line connects to back of water filter. Took half inch wrench pushed in on water line lock to release line. Repeat at other end. Reverse steps to put on new line. Easy repair.
