LER6620PQ0 Whirlpool Dryer - Instructions

Got online with parts select, easily found the parts needed and ordered them. They arrived very quickly. The repair itself took all of 5 minutes and now the dryer door stays shut like it is supposed to. Only complaint is shipping was more than the parts but then again, I didn't waste a lot of time running all over town looking for what I needed. So, in the long run I saved money , especially when compared to a calling someone else to fix it.(big bucks for even the most minor service call as you all know).

Did all according to the online demonstration and everything was as easy as 1-2-3. The dryer works like new again.

Removed power cord. Removed screws in back cover. Checked electrical diagram. Found fuse, checked. New part arrived promptly on time. Was correct part. Tested before instalation. removed one screw that held fuse. unpluged the two wires. Repluged wires, reinstalled screw.on new fuse, replaced back cover and screws. recoupled power, tested. ran perfect.

Slid the new lint filter into slot on top of my 26 year-old Kenmore dryer and it fit perfectly! Ordered part and received it the next day...unbelievable!! Definitely A+ service.

I removed the back of the dryer (after unplugging and shutting off the gas valve) I vacuumed any fuzz and debris. I also removed the dryer vent and cleaned that too. I unscrewed the thermal fuse and replaced it with the new one. I wiped everything down and replaced the back and ran the dryer and it worked! Thanks for your help and for saving me money! My husband was so glad we didn't have to call a service man we celebrated by going out to dinner!

Process of elimination of parts ranked most likely to fix the heating issue. Found the problem to be the last item purchased the timer switch. I`m pleased to almost have a new dryer now. Repairs were simple to do, I recomemend gloves for the sharp edges. Saved a litte money in the process..

Removed rear cover (9 screws), removed heating element enclosure (2 screws), removed heating element assembly from enclosure (1 screw). Replaced element assembly and reversed procedure. Aligning the rear cover for replacement was the most difficult part of the repair.

I thought that I was going to have to buy a new dryer or rather a used one to replace my dryer when it stopped heating. I knew I could not afford an appliance repair person to come out to the house, so I searched for my appliance on the internet for repair parts. Your website helped me to figure out the part that I needed to replace; i.e. the thermal fuse for $9. Since you advertised that you took return parts, I placed my order. Without any hassle short of the obvious moving the dryer away from the wall and removing the back panel I was able to do this in a short time. I was so excited to realize that my dryer was heating up. Thank you.

I removed the back panel from back of dryer, unplugged the thermal fuse as shown in YouTube instructional video. Put back panel back on, plugged in dryer. Started workimf right away. Could not have been easier! The whole process from troubleshooting the problem to oderimg and installing the part was surprisingly easy. Thanks so much! Best service I have gotten in  a long time.

After getting the parts I remove the flex pipe then remove the back cover of the Dryer, then I discover a bird in the exhaust flex pipe and another one stock in the blower fan. The Birds was preventing the air from escaping from within the dryer and as a result we were getting a lot of steam build up inside the dryer. Once I removed the birds I went ahead and replace the parts anyway and the dryer has been working fine ever since. Replace the flex line. (The old parts are still good.)

Neither of these parts solved my problem. I ordered the cycling thermostat and the regular thermostat (2 pieces) and installed them quickly last night. Problem solved! The video was awesome and made the repair straight-forward and easy. Thanks for your wonderful, information packed site. Saved me from buying a new dryer and spending unnecessary repairman fees.

My dryer stopped heating up and therefore not drying clothes. I looked on you tube and watched different videos by Part Select and decided I would try replacing the heating element. I ordered the heating element online with Part Select after searching online for the best price. Part select website was easy to use. Received the part in a few days and was able to replace it with a few tools that I had in my home. I watched the you tube video again and referred to it while I worked. I completed the job in about 30 minutes. I am a 58 year old woman, and part select saved me a lot of worry, money and trouble. I'm thrilled and will turn to Part Select for any and all appliance repairs before I call a repairman into my home. Thank you Part Select!!!!!

I assumed a fuse was bad, although there were 3 possible fuses that might have caused the problem. I tested the Thermal Fuse #PS345113 and it was shot...the others were ok. I ordered a new fuse and everything works fine. The timer was not working on only the heated cycles but the new fuse fixed that as well. This took a bit longer than it should have because it included a lot of cleanup and moving an adjacent washing machine as well.
