First, PartSelect is great!; fast,& accurate. 1. Inside the dishwasher: remove trays. Remove (A050) lower water sprayer from bottom by pulling up. Remove (F191) top sprayer assembly by pulling away from clip holders. Remove (M110) by removing the holding screws. This part cover the whole sump and has kind-of an open screen circling the unit. Now you will see the white plastic impeller (M120) which is attached the the motor with one Phillips head screw. WARNING. The Phillips head screw (holding the impeller in place) is a REVERSE THREADED SCREW. Turn the screw CLOCKWISE to remove it. Then remove the impeller from the motor shaft. Underneath and outside the washer: Remove the bottom plate. Finally remove the motor by unscrewing the four holding screws and electrical wiring.

Old door seal appeared ok, no rips and seated evenly all around. Pulled that seal out and replaced with new. Seated new door seal after wetting inserted lip. Tested...leak greatly reduced, but still dripping. Removed seal, placed a rubber rope (same rope used for screening) within the tub recess, then reseated new seal. leak ceased. Also replaced the reservoirs on the left side of the cabinet (guide assembly). Old reservoir had debris within so decided to replace. Used regular pliers for the 3 hose spring clamps underneath, and a pair of large neede nose pliers for the fill flange (regular thread).

Door is to heavy to hold

The connector assembly connects to a spring to hold the door from falling down. You need to disconnect the power cord, the water line and the drain hose before you move the dishwasher out the kitchen counter. There are several screws that hols the dishwasher in place top, side and bottom. Removed all screws then pull the dishwasher out very slow. Take the side panel by un-screwing all the screws around the panel in my case where five screws (two in the front so you have to open the door to get to them). You need to keep the door down to connect the assembly to the door bracket and the go through the pulley then to the spring, very easy. Put the side panel back and push the dishwasher in place use the same screws and reconnect the hose the water line and the power and you are done.

When I read the book it said that the HE stood for Heating Element. You can easily get to it from the bottom. (leason learned after getting to it from the top) Test the element for continuity. Second Test to see if power is being fed to Heating Element with dishwasher turned off. Expensive Lesson Learned After Burning up three Heating elements (including the original) The Circuit board went bad and was sending power to my Heating element with dishwaher off. It was burning up the heating elements in about 30 seconds. $150 dollars of parts and shipping dishwasher is still not working. Waiting to see if LG will honor there 5 year warranty on the Control Board.

Be sure to order extra rolled with axles. The clips the snap on to the top rack are delicate and I broke two of them putting them in place. Be sure to snug them on slowly and carefully, it seems that the soap scum buildup on the rack creates additional friction. This friction makes you need to push the part on harder, and when you do it snaps on too hrs and one side of the clip will break off.

Dish washer would shut off mid cycle.
