Dishwasher door would fall open, no spring tension.
Removed under countertop screws and lower trim plate. Retracted levelers to clear slate floor. Could only pull unit out about 8 inches, so had to reach in blind to remove and reconnect link ends from springs. Other than my 1 year old Newfoundland pup 'helping', no problems. Parts were perfect fit, just like in the video.

Upper part of dishwasher would not clean
The first thing I did was watch all the how to video's. It looked simple enough for me to do this so I ordered the parts. I unplugged the dishwasher, took out both the baskets, and I am not sure what this is called but the whole tube thing that has the upper little spinner at the top. Replaced the spinner assy. Then on the upper basket there is a manifold at the end. The tip had broken off I took it apart and replaced it. This all took about 5 minutes, very simple. Then I took out the bottom spinner blade, then proceeded to remove the screws, lifted off the filter removed the screw that held the cover of the chopper assy. The chopper assy had fallen apart the only thing that was in one piece was the back plate. Took out all the broken pieces then attempted to put the new chopper assy back in. Now here is where I had problems. The chopper assy is spring loaded and there are a couple of groves and I was trying to put the assy in the wrong grove and it took me a long time to figure out I was doing this. I finally put the chopper assy in the correct grove, and put everything back together, and the dishwasher works wonderful again. I figured I saved myself over $1000 because I didn't have to go out and buy a new dishwasher. I am 53 and a woman, so I am pretty proud of myself for doing this. Am also very grateful for the video's which helped me fix my dishwasher.

Washer Cut Off Mid Cycle, Had Power, No Lights On Control Panel, Would Not Restart
I removed about 8 screws from the upper back of the door assemply to expose the control panel board. From there you could see the thermal overload (fuse. ) I followed the enclosed instructions and was done in about 20 minute. Turned the breaker back on and it immediately lit up and is operating.

the tine on the end rusted out and wouldn't stand up anymore
Pulled two clips off the rack and removed the tine row. Put the new tine row in, had to put both clips on at the same time. Very glad that the clips we had were not bad, because if they were, we would have had to order new clips too. They might consider including that with the tine row. Otherwise a fairly simple job.

Door fell down too easily
This repair was very easy to do. I was able to attach cord anchor to springs without pulling the dishwasher out more than about 10 inches. No disconnect of hoses were required since I had enough slack in the water line. Replacement of the Door Balance Link (big plastic part) was done with only 10 inches of the side exposed. Only one link was broken but the the other side made a groaning noise so I replaced both sides.

Door Balance issue- cable snapped
Follow the online instructions- the only piece of information that was missing is how to deal with the tension in the line when you connect everything. I used a screwdriver for leverage and got things into place- BUT, I got the impression that this could be dangerous. Be careful. Otherwise, easy as you can imagine- also be careful pulling the dishwasher out from under your cabinet- you don't want to inadvertently disconnect something.

Nylon rope broke on one of the door balancers causing the door to drop quickly when opened
The repair went smoothly. I watched the repair video on this site which made the job much easier. The repair kit comes with 2 new balancers, so I replaced both of them while I had the dishwasher out from under the counter. Great experience using the PartSelect website. From locating the replacement parts, ordering, shipping and repair.

No power at controls
Thought it was the control panel. Searched online, found you. Learned it was Bi-Metal Fuse. Received part in 2 days. Replaced in ten minutes. Wife is thrilled and I'm happy I didn't have to pay a service guy $150+ to knock on my door, plus parts and labor! WIN! Telling all my friends about this site! Keep it up!!

door fell when opened
pulled the dishwasher out, we found that the door balance link had broken, then ordered the link kit, which arrived the next day. replaced the spring and links, very easy to do after watching the how to video. I do reccomend ordering both springs and link kit together. we are very pleased with the results, the door works perfectly.
