Door would not stay up, drops after opening
I removed the two screws holding the dishwasher under the counter, and pulled out the unit about 10 inches, which allowed access to the door balance string and spring. After removing the old balance string I hooked the new one in and attached the spring. Then it was just an easy job to push the dishwasher back under the counter top and re-install the two screws. The replacement balance kit was not exactly the same as the OEM part, and rubbed on the guide wheels some, but it appears to work.

Removed the old seal, cleaned the groove, followed directions, placed adhesive per directions, placed new seal in groove per directions, closed door for 24 hours, job was completed. Common to KitchenAid dishwashers, door balance failure
PartSelect video on YouTube is spot on. Thanks to post-dishwasher ceramic tile, the only difficult part was moving the dishwasher out to access the balance kit. Installation of the balance kit takes only a few minutes. Springs were not required.

Upper Wash Arm Flew off with nothing to hold it
So there is only one little trick to this install. The thing that they don't tell you is that you must do the install correctly the first time. There is a small retainer that is a small white button on top of a cylindrical part with three little slices at 120 degrees. This is the receiver for the wash arm and goes up inside the water supply hole. It MUST face slits down in the upper arm supply. This is a simple install. The next thing is the actual washing arm itself. The wash holes must face down. This part is installed up into the receiver button ONCE. If you have gentle hands you may get another shot. The button is the weak part. Good Luck.

Replace (at least tried to) Detergent Dispenser
Watched the video on your website. . .looked fairly straight forward. Ordered the part, looking forward to completing what I though would be a simple repair on Saturday, 2 February. My KitchenAid dishwasher was a bit different from the model in the video. To make a long story short, after about 30 minutes of trying to get the stainless steel "face" off the front of the dishwasher, I called PartSelect.com. . .was told that they were "a retailer not a technical company". The young lady on the line was very nice, and found the number for Whirlpool (KitchenAid) customer service. Called them. . .their technical support folks don't work on the weekend. Hmmm. . .isn't that when most "do it yourselfers" try to fix things? Anyway, my advice would be save yourself some time and frustration. . .call a repair service.

Upper Wash Arm Kit needed repairing
We were unable to get the top rack out of the dishwasher, but was able to put the small pine in the upper area and then place the arm and bracket in - snapped and now works well! We did look at the video but since our model didn't allow for us to take out the top rack based on the video demo, we did the next best thing. Thank You!

Door balance broke
Actually your video lays it out very well. Went exactly as it shows and was very easy. I did not have to pull it out to the point I had to disconnect any water or electrical connections. Worked great! Replaced both sides as the new rollers turn and the old ones did not causing a horrible squeak when the door was opened or closed. Now, no noise at all.

Stationary wheel on upper rack, left side, severed from it's mount.
Removed upper rack by squeezing rack stoppers with fingers, turned rack upside down, removed broken mount, installed new mount, placed rack in dishwasher and replaced rack stoppers. Note: This was not my major problem. My eye sight led me to Part PS393026 instead of PS393013. Fortunatley for me the parts were functionally interchangeable. However, the wrong part most likely will not last as long as the proper part. I can live with that as I am 89 years young.
