What exactly is the deflector used for? there is water leaking out of mine and it eventually leaks water overflow if my dw door is not closed fully. Never noticed it before until I've found water allllll over my kitchen floor when unattended for hours.
Additionally for the Air inlet part - does a rubber gasket come included? my current rubber gasket is cracked the entire length of the gasket (i hope that is the right term) i can't tell if the rubber is included on the air inlet part.
