Bezel fell off - broken tabs
Fiddled around for a few minutes trying to fit the tabs in the holes. Finally figured out it just twisted to put it back on. Very simple but it looked more complicated that it was.

The flexible siverware "basket" had worn out - mesh seperated from plastic attching bracket
REALLY simple repair - no tools, just removed new part from shipping box, attached to dishwasher and threw old part awary. Fantastic!

worn out small parts basket
1. Open dishwasher door.
2. Place basket hooks over dish rack.
3. Close dishwasher door.

bottom seam of original basket tore out
ordered new basket; attempted to clip the new basket in place of the old, but the new basket is about 1/2' higher than the old, so that it doesn't hang on the edge of the upper dish rack properly, without interfering with the utensil rack above.

Basket eroded thru normal everyday usage.
Replaced basket by clipping it in place. This is my third basket........

Silverware Basket Broken....

Bezel locks broke and bezels fell off causing serious leakage,
Simply snapped the replacement parts (4) in place by hand and a quarter turn till they locked. Problem solved - no more leaks. Now if only some one can tell me how to un-warp my Pergo floor!

Old silverware basket died of old age
I saved the silverware basket from my old KitchenAid dishwasher to use in my new KitchenAid dishwasher. It finally died of old age. After checking many on-line parts stores this was the only one having my item. I bought extras for friends who wished their dishwasher had this part. This is a parts house that has it all and sends out the item ordered quickly.
