Does ice cube dispenserr dispense cube and crushed ice

Hello Steve, thank you for your question. The auger pushes ice through to the dispenser, but also pushes ice to the crusher when you call for crushed it. It is used to dispense both. I hope this helps!

My auger slips. The motor shaft looks fine, hexagon shaped but the part attached to the very bottom of the auger, the part that slips over the top of motor shaft is obviously stripped out. I know I need to replace that part but don't know what its called. The motor runs fine and when no ice in bin the auger turns but any pressure at all on it and the motor shaft just spins in the connection.

I bought a refrigerator kitchen aid but ice maker makes ice but ice does not drop ice. I noticed that it does not crush ice because there is a part missing the part that rotates on top the long staff that protruding through ice that sits on top of rotating circular thing under plastic ice container. Please i think it might be ps11739237 do i need anything else because i’m clueless! I can send pictures of my problem

Sounds like you might need a new emitter board # W10757851 These boards tells the icemaker when it's full and that it has to dump the ice, and it also tells the icemaker when to refill with water. Hope this help. Please contact us anytime.
