Exhaust fan on cooktop would not raise
Repair technician diagnosed faulty raise / lower switch. Technician did not have part on hand. I ordered part but I came across a blog stating that if the screens were not properly installed a complete circuit would not occur. I used two putty knives and slid them in from of the screens in teh lowered fan assembly pushing the screens in place. The fan raised up and down as designed
