Temperature Sensor

This temperature sensor is used to measure the inside temperature of a self-cleaning oven. Its 1000-ohm resistance increases with temperature. The sensor has male leads, is 6 inches in length, and comes with 2 ceramic wire nuts. Fault temperature sensors are often responsible for F3 and F4 error messages on an electric range. Furthermore, if you find your oven is too hot, will not heat evenly, or simply will not heat at all, there could be an issue with your temperature sensor and you should look to replace it immediately.

2 Piece Broiler Pan

This is cookware designed for use in your range or oven. It is a two-piece dish that is used to grill or cook food while the broil function is on, meaning it can withstand high temperatures. This set includes both the pan and the grid. The grid is the top part. The slotted design allows grease to easily drip into to the pan below. Not only does it catch all of the drippings, it also prevents splatter and smoke while cooking. The pan can also be used separately for baking and roasting. This cookware features a durable porcelain finish, which means it is incredibly easy to clean, and is dishwasher safe. It is roughly 1.5 inches deep, and measures approximately 16.5 inches by 12.5 inches. If your two-piece broil plan is lost, rusted, or damaged this is the replacement you need.

Two screws remove the front of the sensor (put a pan under the sensor to catch the screws), One nut removes the rear cover to access the rear of the sensor. Separating the two halves of wiring harness takes a little dexterity. BIG TIP! Tie a string to the back of the sensor wire and pull the sensor out from the front making sure the string still shows thru t... read more

Although the ignitors glowed brilliant yellow I learned from an expert there are 2 fail modes. 1. that they break and don't glow well enough to ignite the gas or 2. they get resistive over the years and do not pass enough current to open the valve. This is important to know because the current passes through the ignitor before it gets to the valve. If the... read more

My analysis was flawed. The $100 gas valve was acting erraticaly, so I replaced it. On a hunch, I took the top front off the stove and immediately saw a row of mini relays mounted on the $300 control board. The one labeled "bake" was black!
It is just too small for years of gas on / gas off high current. (The gas valve is indestructable. I took the ol... read more
