Removing the stove top was easy, it was just setting in place. Put some blankets over the kitchen island and did the repair their. Most difficult thing was, how stight the wires were. After removing the switch cover, I wound it nessary to remove the inside side wall of the switch box in order to have enouph room to change the switch. Works just fine now. Thanks for your service.

My dual zone burner would trip my breaker anytime i tried to turn it on. All the other burners would work fine. I searched online and found a way to test my burner, which was shorted or grounded out. I purchased a new burner from the site...It was as cheap or cheaper than other sites. It showed up a few days quicker than i was expecting..I also replaced the switch to the burner, just as a precaution and to save time since i already had the top glass off of my burners....EASY JOB!

I can't believe how easy this was to fix. 1. Unplug the stove. 2. remove the screws that hold the stove top in place. 3. pull the top up, unplug the electrical wires and unscrew the ground wire 4. remove the stove top and flip it over. 4. unscrew braces holding the burners in place. 5. with pliers, remove the wire connections between stove top and old burners 6. replace with new burners. 7. reattach everything. And you're done! Go brag to the neighbors about what you just did.

The range top came off with two screws under the front portion of the glass top (by the oven door). I unplugged the connection plugs at the rear off the range top, unscrewed the rear screws holding the heating unit in place and plugged in new element and reassembled range unit. You need to removed the two phillip head screws at the rear of the range top in order to remove the bar holding the heating element. Once you do this it is very easy to finish the job.

Removed glass surface and identified existing wiring (sketch, photo, schematics) before disconnecting and removing it. Installed the new switch and connected the wires using the supplied wiring instructions as well as my sketch and schematics. Appreciate that the new switch came with wire extenders and shrink tubing. Had to use both of them.
Replaced the glass top and installed it back into the counter ,Turned on the circuit breaker and everything worked perfect. Just want to mention that I am extremely satisfied with PartSelect service. It is second time I ordered cooktop part. The delivery is prompt and the parts work as required
