The water hose for the top rack of the dishwasher
My folks are 84 and 85. They thought they needed a new dishwasher. For less than $25.00 I fixed it. All it required to cut in 1/2 the old piece and remove it. That was the hard part it wanted to crumble. Then force the ends into the brackets of the dishwaser. Took about 3 minutes. It works perfectly. Thanks to your operator/service person. She explained it perfectly.

Rubber tube rotten. Bottom rack rusted/broken
Rubber tube went right in. Watched video on how to remove pieces that hold wheels onto rack. These pieces DO NOT JUST SNAP OFF as in the video, they break off, which renders them useless! So, spend the extra money and buy the pieces that hold the wheels onto the rack.

Ordered axles to replace several originals which had broken.
The installation video is excellent. What should have been a simple fix proved to be difficult for me. Perhaps a function of not enough hand strength to "snap" the axles in place. After trying to use a screwdriver to pry open a side enough to slide on and soaking in hot water to make the axles more pliable -- neither of which worked -- I turned the rack on its side, inserted the axle in the opening and then stepped on it. Voila! That worked beautifully and the next two were easy using the "stand-on-it" method. For anyone with a similar issue as far as hand strength, I recommend this method.

Coating on lower rack was rusty
I found a video that showed how to take the wheels and axles off. After that it was easy - for me using gloves helped on the axles. I am not a DIY but since I previously used the repair kit on the rusted spots 2x in the past 6 years decided it was time to replace. Axles went on the new rack easier after I soaked them in hot water. Wheels popped right on. Then I discovered my silverware basket didn't fit. After scouring the internet to see which style would fit, I studied the location in the front of the rack and found that only one prong was preventing the basket from sliding in. I bent that one prong forward enough to allow the old basket to slide into the same location in the front of the new rack. I did notice that the new rack is quite a bit lighter than the old rack - that is what probably made it easier to bend the prong so I could get the old basket in.

Water Delivery Tube old and brittle and full of holes.
Watched "PartSelect" video showing how to remove the old tube and install the new one. Also read what others said about warming the tube with a hair dryer to make the rubber more flexible -- as you had to stretch the rubber to get it to go over the plastic parts that it attached to. I ordered the part around 3 PM and received it around 10:30 AM the next day. Excellent service!
