With the door separated I removed the 2 screws that hold the end caps in place, then removed the old end caps. First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires. Connected wires ti new element and screwed in place. Very easy repair. Element expensive $75
