How do I set the self cleaning feature on my syove?
For model number JGB700SEJ4SS
PartSelect logo
Hi Scheagbe, thank you for the question. To use the Self Clean feature: 1. Start with the oven at room temperature. 2. Wipe excess grease and soil from the oven and interior door. 3. Remove all items. See Cleaning the Cooktop to determine if your grates may be self-cleaned and for important details regarding grate placement. 4. Close the door. Slide the door latch handle to the left as far as it will go. 5. Click the Clean Self/Steam button. You cannot open the door during the self-clean cycle. The door will remain locked after the self-clean cycle until the oven cools below the unlocking temperature. At the end of the self-clean cycle, allow the oven to cool and wipe any ash out of the oven. We hope this information helps!

Twice I ordered the oven light bulb & each time the light bulb was defected
I had to call for a appointment for repair with GE Appliance because I thought then it . .was something electrical. The technician came out & checked everything out, turned out it was not electrical, The technician went out to his truck got a light bulb from his truck, put it in & it worked. It cost me $121.00 for trip charge from GE appliance for a light bulb that worked, your light bulbs were defective twice. Very disappointed with your products, cost me alot of money for a good light bulb thru GE appliance
