The bake heating element shorted out on the oven. Called several appliance dealers in Kansas City and the said that it would take two weeks to get the part.
I ordered the bake heating element from Part Select on March 23rd and paid the small amount for overnight shipping. Believe it or not I received the heating element the next morning at 10:00 am. I do not know how they did this since I live in KC MO and they are in PA i believe. They show you a diagram of the part you need with the part number on their web sight. I opened the well packaged item and took out two screws on the existing bad element and took it out, BY THE WAY MAKE SURE THAT YOU SHUT OFF THE POWER TO THE OVEN. I neglected to turn off the breaker because I thought the oven would have to be on to have power. This was a mistake because the heating element shorted when I tried to pull it out.
This was entirely my fault. I shut off the breaker and installed the new heating element in about five minutes. It worked great and we had our oven back in two days. My wife was very impressed with my electronics experience but I did not tell her everything. I would highly recomend this company. Don

Heating element not working
I removed the 2 screws in the back. You have limited room to work but it is enough. The screws were somewhat hard to come off so I used a rachet set as well as a screwdriver. Pulled the element forward and tilted it up. The prongs has to be wiggled out. Went back together very easily. Wouldn't have tried it myself if I hadn't read the posts here. It was REALLY that easy!!!

The Old Hinges broke off and the door would not stay closed
I removed the single screw on each side of the oven by the hinge to remove the hinge cover plate and expose the hinge opening. I lifted off the glass oven door up and out and set it on my work bench. The door is heavy because its glass so make sure the doors on the way to the garage are open to your work bench area. I installed the cover plates back on so i would not loose the little covers and screws. I removed the screws all around the door and set them in a cup and lifted up the inner part of the door and the hinges are exposed. After removing the screws that hold on the hinges it lifted right out. I cleaned all the glass and set the new hinges in and locked them down with the screws and installed back the inner part of the door to the outer part and returned all the screws back. I then removed they screws on the hinge covers. I did not loose them with 4 kids running around and lifted the door back into the hinge openings and pushed down and it locked in. I then put a little pressure down on the door and removed the little locking pins. I pushed the door all the down and installed the hinge covers back on and it works beautiful. I think the new hinges are better than the set that came with the Jenn-Air wall oven. Thanks Parts Select. Also the new hinges came in 3 days as promised.

temperature probe insulation broken down so short circuit
As the probe is a plug-in item that would normally be out of the oven, there was nothing more to the repair than checking that the new probe plug fitted the socket and that it was detected by the oven. Then the old probe was consigned to the trash.

Everything checked out, and the probe was used satisfactorily within a couple of days.

The Over display was getting dimmer and dimmer, could not see the clock.
First, I searched ythe partselect.com web site for "Dim over display for Jenn-Air double over" and found an answer to some one with the exact same model as me. The answer said to order the "clock assembly" and all would be solved.

So, I ordered the assembly, it arrived. First thing I did was turn off the circut breaker for the over! I removed 4 screws holding the oven display in place. With those 4 screws removed, I was able to remove the clock assembly with 4 more screws and 3 cable connecters.

Put the new assembly in place, hooked up the connectors and turned the circut breaker back on. Everything was done and working within 15 minutes! Could not have been easier, it's great to have the display back again, we can now tell the oven temp, how much time is left on the timer, etc!

Broiler blement failed
Sunday, four days before Thanksgiving, our oven would not bake properly. A quick check indicated the top element was not working. What to do? Where to get a part in time to fix for Thanksgiving dinner? The answer was easy - PartSelect. I had the part in my hands on Tuesday AM. Oven was fixed in 15 minutes and my wife was baking pies within an hour. All worked well and yes, we had a wonderful trukey dinner. Great service !

Element Burned OUt
Piece of cake. Removed two screws holding the element in place and pulled the element out to expose two wires connected with friction clips. Connected the new element and screwed it back in place. My wife got back to baking and now I am enjoying a different piece of cake.

replace door hinge
The repair was very easy to perform, but the springs in the new hinge were not as strong as the old one. The door would not close all the way unless you held it closed. The hinge looked identical but spring had less tension.

Self Cleaning did not work.
Remove burner knobs, Removed 7 screws from bottom of face plate. Removed screws from 2 alluminum or steel spacers I guess you could call them. I let the Op Panel hang carefully not to stress wires. I marked all wires of the Latch asm. Removed the four screws holding it in and carefully removed the wires. Replaced in opposite manner and self cleaning works. The oven tried to start the cycle but I noticed the latch never triggered. When the function first stopped working I was able to apply slight force to the door and the latch fired. So after replacing the door switch it still failed to work. So latch asm was the official fix. So I have had to replace the latch asm and the Op Panel for being dim. I don't think this model is very good. But Partselect.com is great easy to find parts and good prices. Very pleased with my experience.

broken glass Inside of oven door
Removed Door- Removed outer stainless cover(6 screws) Removed the 1st 2 glass pieces. realized that there were 4 pcs of glass, not 2 as I thought. Found 2nd assembly of 2 pcs, of glass. The piece i ordered that was called inner actually only fit on the inside of the the two outer pcs, too small to replace what was the outer piece on the inside of the door. Called, returned 1st piece, got the correct one and reassembled.
Would have been easier if parts had more understandable labels such as inner door outside glass etc
beware when you order!

my oven would not heat to proper temp
I slide the range out and unplugged it from the outlet. I removed the back of the oven ( 8 screws ) using a cordless drill and phillips bit then with a phillips screwdriver I removed the oven sensor (2 screws) then I installed the new sensor , reinstalled the oven back , plugged the range in , slide it back into place and that was it. This repair took about 10 mins and the oven works perfectly. Thanks !
