To replace the knobs was easy simply pulling the old knobs of and pushing the new knobs on. Replacing the on off lites was a little harder. i had to remove the control box that the knobs were mounted on. follow the wires. One lite for the left side and one lite for the right side. The left side lite was hooked to the two left side controls and the right side lite hooked to the two right side conrols. The wires then went down under the unit to the electrical junction box and wire nutted to the main wires servicing the range. What I didn't realize is that the left front contrlo knob is the only one that controls the fan.It has fan onthe knob. the rest of the knobs are not to have fane on them.I didn't notice this when I made out the order now I have all four knobs that have fan on them.

The 15-year-old Jen-Air stove started smelling really bad. I thought it was a dead animal stuck in the exhaust tube which runs under the floor to the outside. I flushed it out with clorine bleach, but it was still bad. It turned out to the be the grease filter. I washed it every week in the diswasher, but it just was not enough to get it clean enough. Finally, the grease went rancid and smelled really bad. This "repair" took about 30 seconds.

This was a no-brainer: old filter out, new filter in. In addition to replacing an old, greasy filter, I found that the exhaust fan now draws cooking fumes much more efficiently. So why did I wait the 6 years since we moved into this house to do this???

very easy - not really a "repair" more of a face lift, although the grill was unusable.

Parts were perfect - Used it the same night.

The original grease filter was damaged in our dishwasher (it is quite fragile) and needed to be replaced.

2. Swivel the clamp 90 degrees to release the filter.
3. Remove the filter and throw it away
4. Place new filter in place and lock in place by rotating the swivel clamp back 90 degress.
5. Replace the exhaust vent cover
