Hello. I have an electric GE profil range with 2 convection modes. When i touch the convection bake multi/1 grille pad twice, this mode is used for cooking on only 1 rack in convection bake and it works perfectly. If i touch the same pad once, that's for multi rack convection baking, then there is no heat at all. It"s start at 100f and stays at 100f. Can you help me. Thank you.

Hello Gilles, thank you for writing. This sounds like a fault in the Oven Sensor, part number PS236398 for your model range. You can remove the Oven Sensor from the unit and test it with a multimeter. The reading should be in between 1080-1090 ohms to be functioning properly. Good luck with your repair!

My oven will turn on for about 10 minutes, sometimes longer, and then switch itself off turning whole digital board dark. Power to the board will then come back on its own anywhere from 1 to 3 hours. All the while, the stove is working fine. Is there a part which needs replacing or the whole control panel?

I installed the new sensor, tightened the two screws holding it in and connected the lead. Then reinstalled the oven into the wal

The repair went very easy. The replacement part was designed differently than the original part. It installed on the rear of the drawer with a screw as the original snapped into the side. This was a bit confusing when researching and looking up the part online.
I turned off the circuit breaker and tested the cook top. I pulled the cook top out and laid a piece of plywood over the opening to work on the cook top and not scratch the granite counter top. The mistake I made was to turn the cook top upside down and separate the top from the housing. The dampening springs came off the burners and I
