Is it possible for the smooth top glass to break/shatter while cooking?
For model number JB645DK4WW
Hello Robynn, thank you for contacting us. Glass top stove burners can handle high heat without cracking or shattering. This feature not only ensures the longevity of the burners but also allows for efficient cooking at various temperature levels. Breaking a glass top stove can happen, but it is not easy to do so under normal use. Glass top stoves are designed to be durable and withstand the heat and weight of pots and pans. However, they can be damaged by dropping heavy objects on them or using cookware that is not suitable for glass top stoves. It is important to follow the manufacturer's guidelines for proper use and care to prevent damage to the stove. We hope this information helps!

All I had to do was remove six screws to take the back sheet metal cover off of the oven. U
