The repair was very straight forward. However, there's a step that you need to press in two plastic tabs in order to remove an assembly piece. The video on this site demonstrating the entire repair made that step much easier to accomplish, and lowered the risk of breaking some of the plastic pieces. Overall, I'm very happy with how the repair went. This is an easy repair that anyone should be able to accomplish.

We order a new part from the website. We disposed in the sink all the ice inside the ice bucket and using the screwdriver we take the parts apart. You just have to be very careful about remembering where every part go. A good tip is to place the screw back into his slot temporary so you will know for sure where it goes. My wife helped me holding the parts while I put all the pieces back together. We finished in less than 30 minutes. You can put back some of the ice to check it, but is better to wait until the bucket is full of ice to test it 100 %.

I ordered a replacement auger from PartsSelect. I disassembled the ice maker bucket and replaced the auger. The most difficult part was removing the plastic housing around the ice crusher. The parts snap together, so I used a couple of thin screwdriver blades to slip them apart. The repair required disassembling quite a few parts. I had to take careful note of the position of each part and the order in which each was removed.
