Replaced flapper, which was in surprisingly good condition. Major part of repair was removing a lot of mold incurred from long term seepage of room air into the ice channel. In the process of the repair, I discovered that the solenoid to the right of the flapper was hanging up badly. I removed it and cleaned both the plunger and the interior cone of the solenoid with alcohol. This removed quite a bit of rust and some mold. Reinstalled solenoid, replaced flapper and it works just fine. May need to replace solenoid if problem recurs. Certainly worth $37.00!

The ice dispense door flapper was deformed letting warm air into the freezer compartment.

The trim piece covering the opening of the dispenser is the first and most difficult part of the disassembly. Take care when removing this piece that it does not break.

Watched the videos for all three parts, most of each video were repeating instructions on getting door parts separated and ready for replacement. Replaced all 3 parts, flap, spring and crank since it was inexpensive to do as a complete assembly.

I followed Parts select video and the only tough part was the plastic tabs were difficult to release. A good tip so that you don't mix up the cutter blades is to slip them on a screw driver as you take them off old auger. I'm a 84 year old widow and I'm proud of myself!

I followed the instructions under "Plastic auger blades broke in ice tray". The only difficulty was getting the part 325 to release from part 352. Had to do some careful prying with small flat screwdrivers to make the release.

The repair was extremely easy because PartSelect.com had a video on how to repair this item. I set up my ipad and played the video step by step. The gentleman, who was explaining how to replace the part, was outstanding! He did not miss one step which made my repair very easy. It took less than 30 minutes from getting my tools, replacing the part, re-installing the ice bin, and clean up. The only prep work was, in the morning, I removed the ice bin so it could be room temperature, just like the video said. (I saved the ice so my family could have ice throughout the day.)

Not a clue on what I was doing. I watched the video this company sent me on how to remove and install the auger. This video came with my email confirming my package was sent. I watched this video as I installed pausing it until my task was completed and it was done in no time.

Followed the instructions which walked me through the installation. When I had a question, paused the video instructions and carefully watched the technician and repeated his actions. My results were the same. Amazed how simple after watching the video completely before starting repair. His tip to let sit (and warm up) was vital. Letting the plastic become pliable before attempting to disassemble is critical. Again, watch the video first, pause & replay when you have a question and take you time. You can do it if I can.

I photographed the setup before beginning, but found myself referring to the video provided for the repair. Excellent instruction, and if it wasn't for the video, I would have gotten the blades mixed up, broken some plastic, you know, the typical mistakes a fumblefinger like me would eventually make. Strongly encourage following the step-by-step video for the repair.
