Noise coming from the dryer
After watching your video, and reviewing the directions, I was able to change the rollers, the belt and tension bar with ease. The parts cost me slightly under 50.00 and now the noise is gone and my dryer works great. I am very pleased with PARTSELECT and would use them again. The parts were at my house within three days of placing the order !!!

The leveling foot on my dryer broke.
We only had to tilt the dryer enough to be able to screw the leveling leg in place. The only hard part was holding the dryer steady to screw in the leveling foot.

noisy
Following the step by step instructions it took longer to clean the old lint out of the bottom of the dryer than to perform the entire repair. The maintenance kit came complete with every moving part(except the motor and drum)and now it runs very quietly.I am all thumbs when it comes to tools but this was very simple.

The dryer would not start
I removed the back panel of the dryer and the thermal fuse was about three quarters down the dryer. The exploded parts schematic was very helpful. I simply removed two screws to replace the thermal fuse and reinstalled the back panel. The dryer works great now.

Dryer would run but no heat to dry the clothes inside. The heating element had burned out.
I ordered a cycling thermostat and a thermal fuse to start with and put in the dryer. This didnt fix it so I then ordered a heating element. I took out the old one from the dryer and put in the new one that I ordered and received in a couple of days. It heats and runs like a new one now. Thanks for the quick service!

dryer not heating up or shuting off
I simply unplugged the dryer and removed the backing. Once off I located the part which was in plain sight, unhooked the wires and attached them to the new part. Put backing back on plugged it in and turned it on and it worked.

I had to spin drum for dryer to start, bad start winding on motor, not sure if the problem could have been fixed by replacing the motor contactor. I could not find a part # for just the contactor.
You have to disassemble the dryer. I looked up how to on youtube.com. I am grateful that people take the time to record the steps in which to do just about anything. Disassembled and ordered motor and fan, damaged fan taking it off, got it in in just a couple of days, installed motor, fan and drum, tested before complete assembly. Works great. Thanks

Dryer would not get hot.
My dryer would not get hot. Followed all the troubleshooting steps, clean vents, etc. While that cleaning was needed, it was not the issue. Checked parts select. Saw a review where the person bought all 5 high percentage items for $137.00 plus tax. Thought it was a good idea since I was pulling out the dryer and doing this anyway. In hindsight, I would have also purchased a new belt, tension arm and rollers. Hey, you have the back and front off, you have cleaned the entire unit. You're there. Rehab your dryer so you don't have to replace things one at a time. You will thank me. The culprit to my issue was a cracked ignitor element. The videos were great. I am not a handy person. If I can do this, anyone can do this. By coincidence, my niece had the same issue and paid $120 parts and labor to replace her ignitor only. For 30 dollars more, I replaced 5 parts. Thank you parts select.

Dryer became EXTREMELY noisy
Kit arrived with all the parts required and with detailed instructions. LOL... the very specialized tool you will need to dis-assemble the dryer? A PUTTY KNIFE. All in all, aside from the top of the dryer slamming shut without warning and scaring the pants off me, this was a relatively easy repair from a technical level. Only real difficult thing was removing and then restoring the drum and that was more due to clearance than actually being difficult. Make sure once you're finished to LEVEL THE DRYER. That makes a HUGE difference!!!!!
