HDA1100Z02WH Hotpoint Dishwasher - Instructions

Check website, order part. Hardest part was determining which was the right part. Needed the axle--I call it the hanger. I had previously called and ordered, but only received the wheel with no way to attach it. Push the axle into the wheel. Push the axle onto the rack. Since it was new, it didn't slip right on, and had to push it hard. (However, when it snapped on, three of the other wheels and axles came off.) Had to put them back on as well. Much easier, as they were older and not as snug. Total time: Took longer to open the package than put it on.

By GE dishwasher badly leaked under load. I was about to shop for new dishwasher ($400 ?) when I had found your website. With likely reason identified, inexpensive parts readily available and video instructions being very clear, I had decided to try to fix my dishwasher myself. Researched the repair solution online, ordered the part from Parts Select that was way less expensive then the manufacture and 2 other parts sites. Very easy to fix. Saved $$$ and time! Love It

Replays the wheel

Watched the how to video, ordered part, part arrived 5 days later. Popped out end caps. Took out rack, replaced wheels and boom less than a minute later it was fixed. Now my kids can do the dishes safely. Momma has a way out of doing dishes now.

Original parts broke off at the wheels and wouldn't stay attached to the basket when pulled out for use...replacement was simple strait forward...remove the old, and on with the new.

Insert the piece into wheel and snap on lower rack of dishwasher. Thank you to parts select for such fabulous service and quick delivery and fair price.

just lifted out the old one & replaced it with the new one. Couldn't have been easier.

The hardest part about this is removing the end caps. I had repaired the wheels a long time ago so I had some idea about how to do it. Bending the back of the end cap very slightly and twisting got them out. Then it was simply a matter of switching the racks, which came with its own wheels, and then putting the end caps back on.

Too easy- what made it easier was this is a portable roll-around unit I could lay on it's back. Loosen the two clamps around the washer pump, hook up the drain solenoid, washer motor wires, attach the motor hanger, that's basically it. It took longer to make sure I was working from the right set of instructions- this pump covers several models. Once I had that right, it was really a snap. Now the unit is so quiet. It once sounded like a jet engine in the kitchen, now it runs so quiet you can hear the water splashing around inside- a big improvement. We should be able to hang onto this thing for a while longer.

In replacing the upper rack in our dishwasher, I struggled and broke one of the end caps (see previous tale of woe. With the new end caps, I finished the job in less than two minutes with no tools. BUY END CAPS when you order a rack!
