ro system quit putting out water
changed filters and ro cartridge. ro cartridge holder was broken where the brass T screwed into and the flow control and screen needed replaced. Actually I lost the flow control and screen when I disconnected the tube to the fawcett (and drain) I wonder if the control was in the system because I never did find it and it was not in the tubing when I checked it. Anyway, thank you for the parts and was able to do it easily. Thank you.

Sump housing o-ring was stretched out of shape
I was due to change the water filter cartridge anyway so I ordered the new o-ring and using the wrench supplied with the filter, I did my normal cartridge replacement and changed the o-ring on the housing at the same time. Real easy. I bought spares in case I ever need them. The original o-ring lasted 5 1/2 years.

R.O. system ran continuously - never shut off.
Thought at first the supply shut-off valve was defective but after securing the water supply, the system still emptied its storage tank. The only thing that could cause this would be the outlet inline 1/4" check valve upstream of the storage tank. The pressurized storage tank would fill and then the supply shut-off valve would close (normal operation) But the defective check valve would the allow water to flow backwards from the storage tank through the R.O. membrane and then out the waste line and down the drain. The cycle would then repeat. After replacing the check valve, the system works great. Rob

Reverse Osmosis would not shut off after tank was full.
Remove the reverse osmosis unit fron under the sink and disconnected the hosed needed to manuever it to remove the plastic lines to the auto shut-off valve. Exchanged the valve but unfortunately this was not the problem. I believe that the above sink water dispenser is the issue. I have not had a chance to order a new water dispenser, but that is the next step. The original complaint was that the unit does not shut down after the storage tank is full and there is a persitant distinct intermittant shreech sound coming form the unit when this problem first presented itself. This led me to think it was the autoshut-off valve.
