Terminal Cover

This is a terminal cover for the compressor in a refrigerator. This covers the relay and overload switch on the compressor. Once you have gained access to the terminal cover, you will see that the cover is held on by a tension or retaining clip. Simply pop the cover off and replace with the new cover. The cover is made of plastic and is black in color. It measure less than 3 inches long and less than 3 inches wide. This is a genuine replacement part from the original manufacturer.

Hinge Pin Bushing

This bushing is used with a 1/4-inch pin. This part is found in refrigerators (and sometimes freezers). The bushing provides a bearing surface for the hinge pin that rotates. Every time you are opening and closing your fridge, this part is acting as a bearing and makes it so that the door is swinging back and forth with ease. This bushing tends to wear down over time and will need to be replaced. You will notice that this part needs to be replaced if your door is off-kilter and not aligned properly. Lights inside refrigerator not working

I used a flat-head screwdriver to pop out the old light rocker switch. Then, I unplugged the wires, plugged them into the new light rocker switch, and then popped the new switch into the hole. That's it! Lights began working again. read more

Once I saw the replacement part I understood how to pry out the switch with a small screwdriver. Then just unplug the old one, plug in the new one and pop it into place.
