I’m having as intermittent issue with fridge and freezer warming up and leaking. Shortly after everything seems to go back to normal. I did find the drain tray frozen. I ohmed out defrost heater and was getting a resistance reading but wasn’t sure what it should be. Also the bi metal switch appears to be open when warm. Could this be an intermittent issue with the control board

I then placed the new motor in place and secured it with the screws and reattached the

The part purchased came with clear and consice instructions very easy to follow.
First I removed the two screws that secure the guard in bottom back of the freezer and removed it . Next I removed the two screws that secure the guard on the back wall of the freezer and removed it.
