I found the "tub clamp" laying inside the cabinet while changing the shock absorbers. I am wondering how to go about researching how to install this?

Thanks for your question. You will need to position the clamp on the outer tub and press it into place.

Hello,
I had my rubber gasket/seal replaced and now my tub is completely out of balance. Would this clamp be the cause if it wasn't installed properly or at all?Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hello Brian, Thank you for your question. Yes, it is possible that the absence of the clamp is causing the tub to be off balance. If you have not installed the clamp, please go ahead and do so. If you need a new clam, the part number is PS12349413. Hope this helps!
