The splash guard for the disposer was deteriorating and kept falling into the disposer and getting chewed up making it even less reliable. I purchased two different 'universal' splash guards at the hardware store. Neither of them fit. I finally crawled under the sink with my eyeglasses and a flash light to find the model number. What a snap just push it in and all is OK. Tried the generic one from Lowes didn,t work. This was great and cheap including shiping charge. read more
