Ordered a new Ice Maker and replaced old one. The installation was a breeze except for the water recepticle on the right side of the Ice Maker. It was taller than the original and difficul to move the rubber water line into the new recepticle. Other than that. Problem solved. Been working great ever since.

the icemaker stopped making ice. The cubes would get jammed up and finally just stopped all together. Removal of the icemaker and installation of the new one was pretty easy. The only problem was getting the electrical plug undone from the old unit. We have a lot of calcium in our water and I guess it finally ate through and ice was forming under the unit. It was five years old so not bad really. All is good....quick delivery. Thanks.

Ice guide was broken. A glued fix failed so it was time to replace.

Hardest part of the whole project was figuring out how to get the bezel off the door to expose the problem area. The rest was simply removal and replace parts. The actuator arm had epoxy on it from the attempted repair and had to be replaced. Easy fix. If you can use a screwdriver and pay attention of how it comes apart you can do this.

First of all I read the suggested repair order. I then proceded to remove the grill. Then the bottom of the frame where the grill sets on was pushed down to release it from the catches. It was the lifted out of the way. The small control panel the was released from its catch and moved out of the way. The retaining screw was removed so that the levers were removeable. The small damper cylinder for the ice door was diconnected toget the arm out. Reverse of these procedures was used to reassemble the unit. It was a very easy procedure. Thank you for the imformation on the repair. I WIIL BE BACK!!!!!!!

Replaced control bracket this was broken, micro switch did not work, and then replaced filter. Micro switch repaired ice maker. The water was a little more. In back of ref. there was a small panel at bottom. Took off and found water line was broke in half. Ice maker line would probaly go too because of crack and leak. This was where both lines sat in a small cradle. Probaly rubbing over time. Sliced both lines and every things working great. Hope this helps someone else.
