head a busted door bin from kids climbing on when small
not much to putting a bin in just insure it is in clips correct and your done.what I was amazed with was the ease of getting correct cut sheet to order part and no drawn out 2 page forms to become a member and it arrived ups which is not always easy in alaska and was on my door step when we got back from a week trip out snowmachining. this was the most accurate and easiest part I have ever ordered, and I work on the supervision end of construction and spend so much wasted time ordering over the internet when I have to

Water was leaking in the back whenever the heating element turned on, freezing up the ice maker
Loosened the two screws on the side wall, disconnected the old unit. Reverse the order for installation. There is a small bracket at the botton that helps level the unit. Be sure to remove that bracket and put it on the new one.

draw was dropping out of track
We just followed the drawing on the computer to order the part and to help us take apart and fix the problem. It was very easy (especially if it's not an electrical part). I would say just about anyone could do this and save a lot of money in repairs.

Plastic Front Ice Container Broke And Crisper Pan Plaster Front Broke
Remove and replace broke items. Crisper pan was the easy, just take the old one out and put the new one in. , The slider on the crisper was easy, just pop it out and reinstall. The front ice container was unscrew the screws and remove and replace old with the new. And insert the screw back in. Of course common sense tells you to dump the ice out of the ice containter first. Make sure everything lines up

Broken side rails on meat storage drawer
Removed shelf and rails. Removed screws from the sides. Removed old broken rails. Mounted replacement rails and secured with screws. Mounted shelf back in refrigerator. Important!! Sanded down the rough edge of the original tray which had cut through the plastic rails. then I lubricated the sides with a small amount of lithium grease.Mounted the drawer and was incredibly impressed by the ease of operation! It is sooo smooth!

Ice Maker stopped working
Realized Ice Maker was not getting water during it's cycle and suspected water valve based on other posts to this web site. My fridge is 9 years old and the tubes connecting the valve were plastic screw on type. The new valve did not have threads to accept the nuts. Turns out all I had to do was cut the nuts off and insert the water tubes into the valve which auto-locked the tubes to the valve. Ice maker now works great.

ice maker was cycling, but no water was getting in
Pulled out the fridge from the wall, unplugged it, and turned off the water supply. Took off the cardboard backing at the bottom of the fridge. Cleaned the dust and gunk. Unscrewed the old valve. Unplugged the 3 electrical connections. Since the new fittings for the water lines were different, we unscrewed the old ones, lopped off the nipples, and inserted the ends of the water lines into the new connections (they were super easy - just push the line in until it clicks). Reattached the valve. Reattached the cardboard. Turned water back on, and plugged in the fridge. Our ice maker still didn't make cubes, though. So I took out the fill valve from the top rear of the fridge. It had a tiny piece of ice lodged in the bend of the back, right above where it connected to the water line. I rinsed it out, reinstalled, and now we have a full bucket of ice!!
