How to take door off to get at the wiring harness on left side
For model number FPBM3077RFA
PartSelect logo
Hi Dennis. Make sure your appliance has no power. Open your door and remove the top screws on the front vent. You can then use a putty knife to pry off the vent. The door should now just lift off. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair.

What is error 11?
For model number FPBM3077RFA
PartSelect logo
Hello Lelia, thank you for writing. First you can try resetting the microwave to clear the error by unplugging it for ten minutes, then plugging it back in. If the error is not cleared, then you likely have a faulty Sensor, part number PS3491315 for your model microwave. I hope this helps!

All of the touch buttons on the left side of the front panel stopped functioning - all buttons to the right of the clock display work, including the start button. The unit still works fine. Any help?
For model number FPBM3077RFA

Hello Scott, Thank you for your inquiry. We have researched your model and recommend changing the control panel and touchpad. For safety reasons, since the microwave capacitor can still store electricity even when the microwave is unplugged, it is usually advised that you discharge the capacitor before any attempt at repair. We have included a link on how to do so. Good luck with your repair. https://www.partselect.com/Microwave+discharge-capacitor+repair.htm

Microwave tripped circuit breaker when turned on
Remove vent cover then remove touch screen control panel. When you remove control panel take photo of where everything is plugged in then unplug and remove control panel. 3 door switches located next to door in a plastic chassis. Test each switch with current tester. Remove the bad switch and replace with the new one. You tube DIY helped.

Power would not come on, would trip breaker when connected.
First thing I dir was search YouTube for any related videos and found this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHj4H9Fdxrc, it was the exact problem my microwave was exhibiting. Once I verified the problem by troubleshooting, I removed the part and verified that the switches were working fine, the door latch assembly showed signs of wear which was the cause of the problem. After receiving the replacement part I installed it, verified that power was restored to the unit and reassembled the microwave, works fine, hope it lasts a long time!

Thermostat bad....but couldn't fix it
My grandfather who is well versed as an electrician checked my microwave out because it wasn't worked. He used a multimeter to check electric current to parts in the microwave. He said a specific thermostat was not getting any current going through. I ordered that replacement part from this site and when it came in it didn't have current running through it either. He said he thought the part that was given to me was faulty. I called this companies number to ask some questions but the machine said they aren't taking any inquiry calls because of the pandemic right now. So I currently don't know what the problem is with my microwave. I want to return the part but unfortunately during Christmas time the packaging got thrown away. So as of right now I'm out the part money and probably money to buy a new appliance.
