Water started draining from bottom of washer tub, is there a seal or o-ring that needs to be replaced and how is it replaced?
For model number FLEB8200FS2
Hi Jeramy. You may need splash cover seal PS418992. To replace make sure your appliance is unplugged. Place some tape across the top cover securing its position. Use a putty knife to remove the locking clips securing your washers top housing. Lift the top up, find a way to support the top, either lean it against a wall, or support it with a lanyard. Take the tub cover off by releasing the locking tabs. You will want to press down over the tabs while releasing them to prevent breakage. Unhook any hoses from the retainer spot and lift off the cover and flip it over. You will see the seal located in the cover channel. Use a screwdriver to get underneath and pull it out. Put in the new seal easily by pressing it down making sure it is all the way in.Then just reverse the process to reassemble your washer. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair.
