Bake or Broil Spark Igniter

This part is found in your gas range, also known as spark electrode. This part helps your burner ignite and produce flame. This will need to be replaced if it is no longer providing spark to start the burner. This may happen because the wire shorted out or the porcelain cracked. To access this, part, you will need to get underneath the cook top. You will need to remove the grates and burner heads to do this. Remove the screws that hold the burner assemblies to the cook top. Take a screwdriver to pry up on the cooktop.
