Easy repair. I simply removed the upper screws and removed the panel that the clock/timer was attached to. The switch for the oven light is also attached to that panel so to avoid a shock when you remove the wires from the switch you need to shut the power off to the oven. I was replacing a range oven hood, so I pulled the oven away from the wall but left it plugged in. I removed the old oven hood, which had an exhaust pipe that was still mounted through the cupboard.
