Washer goes through cycles filling and emptying, but during the wash and rinse there is insufficient pressure to spin the arm and splash wash the top tray, since it empties fine it seems the pump is ok. Does something break under the cover part # 10 or can something be clogging the water path to the arm?

It is most likely something clogging that is causing the arm to neither spin or spray pressurized water, the clogging is either in the pump itself, or the filter and filter base is clogged. We suggest checking those parts for any blockage before replacing any parts. We hope this helps!
I removed old tub gasket, which the door presses against to make a seal, and put the new one in. Flat tip screwdriver was used to gently press gasket in.
Over Thanksgiving, the spray arm in my dishwasher apparently popped off and was partially melted. I remounted it inside the dishwasher, but the new hole was on the side of the arm. I think this resulted in water being sprayed directly against the door and not up through the top holes. It flooded my kitchen floor.

... Read morerm pops on and off with plastic tabs (?) at the base. You can lightly pry with a butter knife or simply wiggle it off. The new one popped right on. Easiest repair EVER.
