Door Gasket

This tub gasket, also known as a door seal, is used for dishwashers. This one-piece part provides a water-tight seal between the dishwasher tub and door to prevent water leakage. If you find your dishwasher is leaking or the door will not close, replacing the door seal can solve the issue. The measurement for this door seal is 90 1/4 inches long. Water leaking under the dishwasher

I looked under and found that 2 brass nuts that secured the heater element through the base housing of the dishwasher has split down each side of the nut and no longer was tight enough to keep water from leaking around either end of the heater element. First I noticed that the old gasket had disintergrated along the bottom. Next I removed the the gasket being careful to observe how it was installed. There are these notched areas of the gasket that belong in the lower corners. I think the notches are designed to help hold the gasket in place and make the gasket bend around the corner.
