EL3030WW1 Roper Dryer - Instructions

Located broken front door safety switch actuator. Ordered new part shown on the diagram. Removed broken part, installed new part, start dryer,runs fine.

We thought it wiras the heating element and we ordered that part from.you but it did not fix the dryer. So we ordered the thermal kit and little less then 15 min. we had it fixed.

replaced stock belt tensioner with one with pulley. i hope that solves my problem. just want to add that you guys saved me a ton of money ! thanks and God Bless

I'm a 68 year old single lady who watched the video and just followed the instructions. Took the back off, tested all the parts involved with heating and the only part that didn't have any continuity was the top part of the thermal cutoff fuse. After receiving the part I removed the old one, put the new one in, put the back on and turned the dryer on. It heated right up. I also had a part that I didn't need and your return dept. made it very easy to return. I love this site. Save me a ton of money.

Order one new latch, receive 2 spares. Pushed new latch in, re oriented the catch. was done in less than 5 min

By following the repair video available, I took off the top and front panel of my dryer, removed the drum, removed the old drum support rollers, vacuumed out the inside of the dryer (so much lint!), replaced the drum support rollers, and put the dryer back together. Dryer runs like brand new and is very quiet. Repair was extremely easy to do. Got the replacement parts in about 2 business days. PartSelect repair videos make the repair easy too! Lots of satisfaction for a girl to repair her own dryer!

Can't stop laughing about the mistake I almost made, before I even looked on internet I called Sears and scheduled a repair appointment, $80.00 just to have someone come out and tell me what my problem was not to repair it but to tell me whats wrong. And I told them the belt had broken I heard it when it snapped. Long story short version I found your website and entered appliance information, found part for $15.00 but also found on-site video clearly making the needed repair. Clear step by step instructions taking only 8 minutes looked very easy so I took a chance ordered the part two days later part arrived so I went into basement armed with laptop and tools. MAN it was easy.... too easy ....worked out fine video was spot on. Thanks you guys are a great company

I removed the tiny screws on the door and replaced the old door catcher with the new one.

Removed front lower panel as shown in how to do video, removed two screws from heating element bracket and pulled the whole tube that holds heating element and thermo cut off and thermostat. Used OHM meter to check out heating element, thermal cut out and thermostat. Thermal cut out was the only thing bad but replaced both thermostats as recommended. The most time was taken cleaning out cabinet as it had eleven years of lint and very lucky it never caught on fire over the years. Put all back together and dryer now dries clothes in half the time as before.

Remove two screws from lint trap lift top, disconnet wires on front panel. Remove front panel and drum take out two screw from coilvalve remove and replace with new valves.

I was impressed with the fast time the part was delivered. The price was good too. The installation video and instructions did not match my dryer but it was helpful to some extent. The video and instructions being different was not ya'll's fault because of the age of the dryer. It took me so long to change the switch was because of the location and design of the switch. I got it though.

i read the directions & compared the new & old parts to make sure everything was ok. (the new switch had been updated)then i took the back upper panel off, unplugged the dryer, removed old switch. installed new switch and put the upper panel back on. plugged the dryer back in.. pushed the new switch on & the dryer started to work again

My husband changed the part but part select was very helpful. With their free repair help site it made repairing a breeze! We will use parts select again and again. I did order all the parts we might have needed and only needed one. Now I will return the others.

Called partsselect on monday and parts arrived tuesday. The repair is simple to do. I removed the lint filter, opened the top of the dryer, disconnected the door switch, removed the two screws holding the front of the dryer then lifting it up to remove. I removed the broken pulley assembly and belt. I installed the new pulley assembly and belt. Then I reassembled in the reverse order.
