baking element started on fire & fell apart
My husband pulled out the bake element with no thought about the connection wires. They totally disappeared. He couldn't find them anywhere. Of course, he started this little project at 6:00 PM, I said forget it, I need to use the stove for dinner. The next day I attempted to find the wires & couldn't. I pulled the stove out, took off the panel on the back, found the wires, pushed them through & used clothespins to hold them in place. I put the new element in, attached it loosely so I could put the insulation back in, used a socket wrench(if that's what it is called)tightened it up, went behind the stove & did a good cleaning, put the panel back on with the same socket wrench, pushed the stove back, turned the electric back on, turned on the oven & it worked perfectly. I called my husband & he said "don't turn the oven on until I check what you have done to make sure it is right". I said "it is already on & is working just fine, thank you!" If I would have done this myself in the first place, I would have said easy, 30 minutes(even if I had to pull the stove out)& it sure beats paying for a GE service repairman to do the job, which is what my husband originally wanted to do. I forgot to mention, make sure you turn the circuit breaker off before you start. I used directions that I found on your site from other customers that installed the same bake element & it was easy. They were such a big help. I was also very happy with PartSelect & how quickly I received my order. Sorry to write a book, but I thought that someone might get a laugh out of this story!

Bad Burner
I simply removed the 2 anchor screws in front of the stove and wrote down the wiring order on the instillation diagram, removed the old burner, removed the two studs, made sure they were installed on the right numbers place them in the new burner, wired the new burner, placed the springs respectively. Placed them in the correct holes in the frame to be sure that the burner was aligned properly. Put the washers on the studs and replaced the frame screws, lowered the cook top and returned the screws to lock the cook top in place.

Oven element caught fire
Like the others, the element is easy to remove. Just 2 bolts. However, the wires attached to the element are very short on this appliance and if not extremely careful, they will pop back into the insulation. I was half careful as only 1 popped back. I secured the 1 wire with a small clamp and removed the central panel in the back of the range (5 bolts). I worked the wire back into the oven, attached both to the element, attached the element to the back of the oven, neatened the insulation in the back, and replaced the center panel. It wasn't difficult.

The bake element burned a hole in it
I ordered it online and it came to our house in less than 24 hours which is very impressive since we live in a very remote place. There were responses from other people who had the same problem and what they had to do to fix it which was very helpful because we knew what might happen. The wires went into the back of the oven when the old element was removed. We were ready, opened up the back of the oven and stuck it back in, connected it, cleaned behind the oven while it was out, put it back, and it works like new. Thankyou so much!
