It will work fine then just defrost the freezer and not restart again until I switch it to the off position and then back on. Is there an inexpensive fix for this? I also need a couple of door buckets and the two plastic crisper pan and meat pan and glass shelf. The kids have moved on and it's getting old but is it worth repairing?

Hi I need to replace my WP fridge condenser motor. Did whirlpool Part # WP2188874 change its look? The Condense motor I have in my fridge looks different than the one recommended on your site, the condenser I have is a BITRON FSP #W10124096 with the connecting cord different place?

Hi Stacy, thank you for the question. If the arm that tells when the ice is full is stuck in the halfway position. There might be something blocking your ice maker's arm from moving freely. Make sure that nothing is accidentally blocking the movement of your ice maker's arm. Make sure the wire arm is pushed in all the way into the back of the icemaker head. Then use a hair dryer and heat up the icemaker to make sure the arm won't go down because it is frozen. If the arm does not go down, then the gears inside the icemaker head of just jammed up and the icemaker part number PS11749920 needs to be replaced. We hope this information helps!
My fridge is not dispensing water. Ice dispensing is not affected. I even heard the water line work as it was trying to make ice

Hi Rajesh, thank you for getting in touch. When the refrigerator water dispenser is not working but the ice maker is, the water pressure could be to blame. Your fridge needs less pressure to make ice than it does to dispense water. Make sure water filter is not clogged or need replacement. Verify that you have an adequate pressure at the inlet to the valve, that the inlet screen is not plugged, and that there are no restrictions in the inlet or outlet tubing. If your refrigerator is set too cold, it may cause a frozen water reservoir, which blocks the water dispenser. If you can reach the reservoir, you can use a blow dryer on the lowest setting to thaw the water in the line. Then simply adjust the refrigerator temperature to avoid the issue in the future. If you are unable to locate or reach the water reservoir, you may consider defrosting your fridge for a day so the water melts. If all checks are fine, we would recommend replacing the water dispenser lever, part number PS11749102. We hope this solves your problem!

Thanks to the pictorial diagram, I was able to order correct parts. It was just a matter of removal of broken parts and replacing them.
